COACH STEVE JAMESON

OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Coach Steve Jameson is originally from Dalton, Massachusetts. He will be coaching football, lacrosse, and teaching biology at Centennial.  Mr. Jameson did his undergraduate work at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, in Worcester, MA, where he was a 4-year letterman at cornerback, and an all-Patriot League goalie (1989) and team captain (1990), in lacrosse. Mr. Jameson received a B.S. in biotechnology from W.P.I. in 1990.  Mr. Jameson also received a M.S. in Sport Administration from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville in 1999.  Mr. Jameson won a Georgia STAR teacher award in 2007.

Mr. Jameson is entering his 13th year of coaching football, in varying capacities.  In his years coaching, coach has been fortunate to work at virtually every level of football.   Mr. Jameson has coached at the middle school level on up to every level of college football (Division IA, I-AA, II, and III).  From 1997 to 1999, Jameson was the offensive graduate assistant coach at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, when the Vols won two straight SEC titles and a National title.  From there, Mr. Jameson became the Tight Ends coach at Murray State University.  Mr. Jameson moved on from M.S.U. in 2000 to become the Offensive Coordinator at Anderson University in Indiana.  In 2001, he came to the State of Georgia as the Running Backs Coach/Pass Game Coordinator/Recruiting Coordinator at Fort Valley State University.  Since 2002, Mr. Jameson has been coaching at the high school level.  Coaching stops have included Crawford County, Peach County (where they played for the State AAA Championship in 2003), Americus-Sumter, and Lee County high schools.  During that time, Mr. Jameson has been a Head Coach, Offensive Line Coach, Quarterbacks Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and Defensive Ends Coach

 Mr. Jameson is married to the former Rachel Lynn Belluzzo from Hibbing, MN, and they have a daughter, Kylie Ann (4).
