COACH JAMES FLETCHER

OFFENSIVE LINE

 Coach Fletcher played high school football at Ada, Oklahoma – a school that has 20 state championships and continues to be a contender each year.  Honors awarded him include playing on the all-star Texas Oklahoma Game and being recognized on the All American High School Football Team.  He was recruited by the legendary Bud Wilkerson and attended the University of Oklahoma.  He was coached by Barry Switzer, Homer Rice, Glen Hall, Chuck Fairbanks and Larry Lacewell among others.  Many of the great coaching methods he learned then are now being passed on to the students he coaches.  Coach Fletcher is the all time leader in wins at Banneker and led the teams to the state playoffs 4 of 5 years.  There are currently 3 players from those 5 years in the NFL including Greg Blue from UGA with the Vikings.
